Security Practices

Nirbhaya Staff App is designed to support secure access to the Nirbhaya High School ERP system. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to help protect information processed through the application.

1. Secure Communication

Communication between the mobile application and the school's ERP server is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption to help safeguard information while it is transmitted between the device and the server.

2. Authentication & Access Control

Access to the application is restricted to authorised staff members using credentials issued by the school administration. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

3. Restricted Access to Information

Information processed through the ERP system is accessible only to authorised users based on their assigned roles and responsibilities. Administrative functions are available only to authorised personnel.

4. Device Permissions

The application requests access only to the permissions required for its intended functionality, including Camera and Location. Runtime permissions are requested only when needed and with user approval.

5. Push Notifications

Push notifications are delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). Only the device notification token required for notification delivery is used by the application.

6. User Responsibilities

Keep login credentials confidential.
Use only trusted devices to access the application.
Report lost or compromised devices to the school administration.
Install application updates when available.

7. Continuous Improvements

Security practices may be reviewed and updated periodically to improve the protection of school information and to comply with evolving security standards, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements.
